We consider that no matter what the scale, all the projects can be run using the following priorities which form the basis of our approach:

  1. •Fulfil the clients’ aim and objectives in terms of programme and budget.

  2. •Provide sensible and practical advice to lead to imaginative and appropriate designs.

  3. •Aim to maximise what can be achieved in terms of both quality and quantity through
    careful negotiation with the authorities.

  4. •To help improve the design standards set and improve the visual environment and places in which we live.

  5. •Produce environmentally conscious buildings; we feel we have an important role to play in this process, particularly when we consider that buildings account for 40% of our nation’s energy use.  We therefore aim to use ‘natural energy’ wherever possible in ventilation, heating and lighting, to decrease the dependence on man-made sources, to select materials from sustainable sources and to design energy efficiency into the building through form, insulation levels and heating systems.
